Dna Double Helix

On Monday, I had one of the best biology classes in my life! We made a dna double helix out of liquorice and marshmallows! So cool and afterwards, we could eat it! :)

Let it snow, let it snow, let it snow...

Last week I tried to post this post, but I just saw that it didn't publish .

Yesterday it snowed or the first time! That was so cool and I got a Christmas feeling! :)

Basketball try outs

On Monday was the basketball try out, but because we were more than 40 girls, we had to do another try out in Wednesday. And I have to say, that it was really hard! I didn't make the team, but that was kinda obvious, because the last time I really played basketball is 3 years ago and the rules were different I just don't have the same skills like the other girls. But that alright because I tried! :)

Now I plan on joining a club!

State-Day 2

So today was day 2 from the state games and it was so insane! Our first game was against judge, and because judge was in our region,we already played twice against them and won once, that was an awesome game!

So we were all super pumped and won the first three sets-that was so cool!!!

After that was our last game ever and we played so good and it was so insane! 

We won't and that's why we became #6th in state! How cool is that?! 

But the sad part is, that it was our last game and we will never play in this team again. I could cry! 😪 I love my team!! ❤️💚

Best theatre class ever!

Today in my theatre class, we danced just dance, on a huge screen on the wall! Without controllers and counting the points, and it was so much fun! :)

State-Day 1

 So today was day one of state and we lost our first game, but won our second game, what means that we are going to state again on Saturday! Even if we won, we played so bad, bad like we never played before. So I hope we will do a better job on Saturday! :)

Anniversary

Today, I'm already here for 100 days!! :)

Just wanted to tell you that!

Tomorrow is state

So, tomorrow start the state games and we will have two games. If we win one of them, we will play again on Saturday, and Friday would be our last practice this season. But if we would lose twice tomorrow, today would have been our last practice! Noooo!! :( :( :(

3 month

A few minutes ago, my hostmom came into my room and said, that after Christmas, I would only have half of the time left. That may seems a lot to you, but for me, those 6 month are nothing. 

Last week, I've been here for 3 month, and it definitely doesn't feel like such a long time. Sometimes I don't even have the feeling, that I'm really here and that I'm really doing an exchange year, probably because everything does already feel so familiar.

And Sometimes, I find myself, thinking about the goodbye at the airport in 8 month, what is absolutely crazy, because I should think about things I'm doing here, right now. But I guess that's just a phase of being an exchange student :)
